Chris is the General Manager for the DoubleTree by Hilton Houston Hobby Airport, which is owned and operated by 1859 Historic Hotels, Ltd. The DoubleTree by Hilton Houston Hobby Airport is the closest full service hotel to William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) with 303 guest rooms and suites, over 18,000 square feet of meeting space, restaurants, bars, in-room dining and all of the expected full service amenities. Chris is responsible for 75+ team members and the budget that it takes to run a hotel of this caliber. This DoubleTree consistently ranks in the top 25% in service and customer satisfaction of all DoubleTree Hotels in the Americas and according to TripAdvisor, ranks in the top 10% of all hotels in Houston, Texas. The DoubleTree drives over 100,000 guests to the Hobby Area annually and has a significant economic impact for the area. Prior to assuming the role of General Manager in February 2022, Chris had occupied the positions of Director of Sales, Director of Food & Beverage, and Director of Catering for the DoubleTree since he joined the team in 2006. In his thirty years in the hospitality industry, Chris has had a strong focus on the customer experience and culinary excellence.
