on creating a more connected, walkable, and mixed-use urban environment.

This includes promoting pedestrian accessibility, increasing transit access, diversifying housing options, and
encouraging private investment to enhance the overall living, working, and civic experience.

Hobby Livable Centers Study

The goal of the study is to create a Livable Centers plan for the Hobby Area District that will promote pedestrian accessibility, increase access to transit, provide a range of quality housing options and increase opportunities for private investment. The study includes practical implementation strategies to improve the quality of the living/working/civic environment in the area. It enhances the area as a destination which is walkable, transitserved, characterized by diverse housing and employment choices, thriving businesses, vibrant street life, and civic amenities

Broadway Boulevard Beautification

With the Hobby Area Management District becoming a hub for transportation and a gateway to Houston, an opportunity arose to enhance the streetscapes and create a character for the emerging District. Clark Condon worked with the District to assist them with their vision and the implementation.

Bellfort Station Special Area Study

This study, the Bellfort Station Special Area Study, is the outcome of recommendations made in the Hobby Livable Centers Study CHLCS) completed in 2016 by the Hobby Area District. This study looked broadly at the District and opportunities to create a more connected, walkable and mixed -use urban place.
