Join Houston Parks Board this Saturday, May 3 to restore a wetland on Sims Bayou Greenway. Following the volunteer activity, there will be a volunteer appreciation event for all of the great volunteers who have helped us restore, improve, and protect parks and greenspaces this year!

  • The volunteer event will take place from 9 AM to 12 PM, and the volunteer appreciation event will take place from 12 to 1 PM.
  • Please note that volunteers will need to take a short, 5-8 minute walk to get to the volunteer site from the parking location. Please park your vehicle at Reveille Park (7700 Oak Vista St, Houston, TX 77087). This is also where the volunteer appreciation event will take place upon completion of volunteer activities.
  • All tools, materials, and safety equipment will be provided; we just need YOU!

Únase a la Junta de Parques de Houston este sábado 3 de mayo para restaurar un humedal en Sims Bayou Greenway. Después de la actividad de voluntariado, habrá un evento de agradecimiento a todos los excelentes voluntarios que nos han ayudado a restaurar, mejorar y proteger parques y espacios verdes este año.

  •  El evento de voluntariado se llevará a cabo de 9:00 a. m. a 12:00 p. m., seguido por un evento de agradecimiento con almuerzo gratuito en el Parque Reveille de 12:00 a 1:00 p. m.
  • ¡Importante! Para llegar al sitio de voluntariado, será necesario caminar entre 5 y 8 minutos desde el área de estacionamiento. Favor estacionarse en Parque Reveille (7700 Oak Vista St, Houston, TX 77087).
