The Hobby Area Management was pleased to fund the Houston Police Department Southeast Command’s Back To School Bash on Thursday, during which 250 backpacks containing school supplies were distributed to area students in kindergarten through third grade.
District Board Member Ann Collum and Special Projects and Operations Manager Hunter Yeager joined officers and community volunteers for the annual giveaway.
Thanks to the Houston Marriott South at Hobby Area for providing the event space and volunteer support.
Students start another school year soon; please be extra careful when driving in and near school zones!
