The Hobby Area District joined BakerRipley (Harbach Campus) on their distribution event on September 17, 2020. Hobby Area District Board Chair Danny Perkins and Executive Director Beth Strope took part this morning in a community food distribution at BakerRipley’s Harbach Campus, 6225 Northdale St. Houston, 77087. The distribution was held in partnership with the Houston Food Bank.
The Hobby Area District also sponsored an event on September 18. At his event the District provided masks, food, hand sanitizer and information from the Census Bureau, the LWV, YESPrep Hobby, VCare Clinic. Donations to the event were provided by the Houston Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority’s Local Projects Committee and BB&T bank (Cheryl Widner).
Music was provided by Mikey Mike.
