On Friday, November 5 at 8:30 am, we will be holding a large-scale native tree planting and press conference at Crooker/Moody Park to celebrate:
- Texas Arbor Day 2021-Volunteer tree planting of 1,000 native trees along Greens Bayou
- The TSIG Hand Off to the City of Houston
- The Port of Houston Trees & Riparian Enhancement of Ecosystem Services (PoH TREES) Program
- The Regional River & Waterway Targeted Use of Buyouts (Regional River & Waterway TUBs) Program
- Distribution of the TSIG Regional Native Tree Planting Manual
- Unveiling of the Houston Parks & Recreation Department 4.6M Trees Scoreboard website
