Recently, Texas Department of Transportation announced that the first public meeting for the PEL study would be held at 5:30 P.M. on July 16th, 2020. Given the unique of the COVID-19 outbreak, along with their commitment to protecting public health during this national emergency, the TxDOT Houston District will be conducting this public meeting virtually in order to avoid in-person contact.
In order to provide as accessible of an experience as they can, they plan to display a pre-recorded presentation (similar to the live presentation given at the stakeholder meeting in April) along with various pdf materials and an opportunity to take a survey and provide feedback. All of these meeting materials will be located on the PEL study project page or virtual meeting page (both linked below) and will be available from 5:30 P.M. on July 16th, 2020 to 11:59 P.M. on July 31st, 2020.
