Join us at our final 2020 Brown Bag Lunch Series!

City of Houston: How Vision Zero Houston, a comprehensive and holistic approach to safer streets that supports the common good, enhances the quality of life for Houstonians.

Join us at noon on Monday, Oct. 19, as Lauren Grove, transportation planner with City of Houston Planning and Development Department, discusses Vision Zero Houston.

Vision Zero Houston is a commitment to end traffic deaths and serious injuries in Houston by 2030 and improve street safety and accessibility for everyone.

Lauren has three years of experience coordinating transportation plans and projects focused on vulnerable road users, such as engaging with communities to design bikeways for people of all ages and abilities.

She is a dual University of Michigan graduate, with a master’s degree in urban and regional planning and a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience.

Before moving to Houston in 2018, Lauren sold her car and has enjoyed the perks of walking, biking, and busing to get where she’s going.
