Temporary Art: Sculpture Month Houston Comes To Hobby District

In partnership with Sculpture Month Houston, City of Houston & Houston Airport System, the 1940s Air Terminal Museum is will host a temporary installation titled, “Wild Blue Yonder.” Kicking off the artistic endeavor is an opening reception on October 20.




Participating artists exhibiting onsite at the Air Terminal Museum are Shane Allbritton & Peter Bernick-Allbritton, Nick Barbee, Julie De Vries, Thomas Glassford, Christy Karll, David Medina, and Pablo Gimenez Zapiola.


What is Sculpture Month Houston? According to the official website, it’s “a citywide biennial event that showcases sculpture throughout over 40 venues in the City of Houston, directing attention to the diverse creative energies of sculptors.”
